Reiki and Angelic Reiki

Reiki (‘Ray-key’) is Japanese for Universal Life Energy, it is a wonderful form of gentle natural hands on energy healing founded by Dr Mikao Usui in the early 20th century.

Energy is within everything, nourishing and maintaining all living things. Like a river, when the energy flows freely in, around and through the bodies systems there is balance and harmony; this is when we experience a sense of well being and our life flows easily. When the energy becomes blocked or stagnant we may experience illness, emotional turbulence, or generally feeling disconnection or imbalance.

Reiki healing treatments work on the emotional, physical and spiritual layers by helping the Universal Life Force move freely, gently supporting general health and wellbeing.

This is a deeply relaxing hands on treatment where the client remains fully clothed and lies under a blanket either on the couch or seated. As the energy flows. the sensations during a session may be experienced as changes in temperature of hot or cold, tingling or buzzing, the client may see colours or they may just have a deep sense of relaxation.

I hold Usui Reiki 1 & 2 and Angelic Reiki to Master Level qualifications that have attuned me to working with Usui, Sekhem and Seichim, reiki energy.

I use reiki as a stand alone treatment and I also incorporate it into my sessions when and where required which can help maintain vitality in the multiple energy systems and layers. It is a wonderful treatment that can be beautifully combined with massage or reflexology.
